The importance of social media marketing

Social media marketing is an important aspect of digital marketing. It is marketing of a product through social media like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc. Social media marketing is becoming increasingly prevalent, and we can see every other brand on social media nowadays. They put different forms of content in order to advertise their products and services. Since most of the people use social media, it becomes necessary for business to be there too. Moreover, now a brand can even set up their shop on social media and sell their products directly from there.

Why social media marketing?

Although making a website is the first step for a brand to be out there on the internet, but being active on social media is equally important. Social media is a powerful platform. Especially for businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups, social media can prove highly beneficial. Creating influential content on social media can get you a thousand clients very quickly. You can even connect to your customers through social media and understand what they are actually looking for. It makes you popular in no time, and if you are quick at responding to messages and comments, then you can easily make a memorable impact on your clients. Social media marketing has a powerful impact on the masses, but you need someone to guide you for social media marketing. Seven Ribbons Pictures is where you’ll find a young team of social media experts to help you make use of social media to market your product in the best possible way.

Social media marketing is needed to:-

1.Connect and communicate effectively with the target audience: Social media is the best place to connect people easily. And communication is quite important in order to build relationships with your consumers. It’s the best platform to clear doubts that people may have about a particular product. You can also convey a message to the masses just through one post. Seven Ribbons Pictures’ team, while handling your social media, makes sure that every message and comment is replied and every query is solved in order to build strong connections with your target audience.

2. Understand the need for target audience: on social media, it’s easy to get reviews as people are quite comfortable, and it is handy to just text message feedback about what they think about your product after using it. People put their reviews and suggestions on the comment section that may help you improve in every which way. Reviews are very important to grow as a brand or business and suggestions from your audience always prove beneficial. This way, you can also understand what your consumers are looking for and how you may help them.

3. Promote your products: Promoting your products is the first thing you do after your product is finished up. One way of promotion is through big hoarding and posters, another way is through advertisement on TV, but both these methods are conventional and costly. If you are looking for a cost-effective yet powerful way of promoting your products, then you can do it easily through social media marketing. You just put a post and it reaches thousands of people instantly. You don’t have to worry about money, it takes no money to put your product out there on social media. Sometimes you need to invest a minimal amount to sponsor your product in social media to reach even more people, but again, that’s a very minimal cost. You can put your content in the form of pictures, graphics and videos on various social media platforms. It may seem a little time-consuming, that is where Seven Ribbons Pictures can help you by handling your social media and promoting your product from time to time.

4. Increase brand awareness: Just being there on social media doesn’t solve the problem, you’ll have to make people aware of your brand repeatedly and you’ll have to appear in front of them more often. It is important to tell the masses the purpose of your brand to make an image in the market. This can be achieved by following a good social media marketing strategy. Once you make people know that you exist, you’ll see an exponential growth in your business as more and more people will tend to buy from you. This also makes your brand look trustworthy, and people tend to connect and contact you. Seven Ribbons Pictures social media handling team makes sure that your social media pages create enough brand awareness and make you stand out in the market.

Important things to keep in mind

Create visually pleasing content: People are attracted by the pictures that are visually appealing. You have to make sure that your social media is well-arranged and should be niche-oriented. An attractive color combination is also to be taken into notice. People follow accounts with aesthetically appealing content rather than those with a cluttered and confused one. Make it clear and beautiful.

Always follow a new trend: People prefer trending things over traditional ones. You need to make sure that your content follows the trend in order to be in the eyes of your customer. You need to check what other brands are creating during a particular time. For example: If there is a festival, make posts about wishing the festival, give discounts and offers to the consumers. Like June is the “pride month” and all the brands are making sure that they share content that supports the LGBTQ+ community. So going with the trend also increases your brand value and makes you much more popular and trustworthy.

Research hashtags for your post: On social media, tags and hashtags play an important role in increasing the reach of your content. While sharing a picture or video on social media, one should use well-researched hashtags that are relevant to the post.

Post consistently: Again, showing up consistently reminds your followers about your existence. So post consistently, post the content that is interactive, post stories, videos, carousels and all different kinds of content. Again, it is sometimes tiresome to post every day as it takes a lot of creativity and ideas to create content. Seven Ribbons Pictures’ content development team and social media team can help you by creating interactive content for you and posting it consistently on your social media to make people notice you again and again.

What is Raja Yoga?

Meditation is something that makes us find ourselves in the midst of all the worldly chaos. When we meditate, we are able to focus on our well-being that we have otherwise been ignoring. Meditation finds us a solution to many problems and helps in making our life easier. We are able to understand things more clearly and take decisions in a better way if we meditate. Raja Yoga is a type of meditation technique a little different from the other ones as it is complete wholesome in itself and requires even minimal efforts compared to other meditation techniques. Located at Devbhumi Uttarakhand, Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school provides the best environment to practice meditation away from all the hustle and bustle of cities.

Defining Raja Yoga:

Raja in Sanskrit means king, which refers to a Royal, and thus raja yoga is considered the principal form of yoga. It is yoga and meditation practice which aims to attain peace and contentment of body, mind and soul. Raja Yoga basically aims to self-realization and spiritual liberation. The distracted human mind is considered the greatest obstacles in the path of self-realization. The mind which is involved in misery, lying, ego and selfishness obstructs human beings from attaining the ultimate liberation and causes suffering to individuals and to people around them. The teachers at Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school guide you to perform Raja Yoga step by step and make you feel its true benefits in the best way possible.
As we can understand from the word itself, “Raja” is the one who is independent and fearless. Similarly, the one who practices Raja yoga is confident and away from all the worries. Raja yoga makes us more disciplined and smart. Raja yoga is a wholesome and inclusive form of all kinds of yoga and meditation, and it can be practiced by anyone from any background. Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school is open for everyone regardless of religion, gender, race or any background to come and practice meditation and take one step forward towards liberation from the worldly chaos.
Raja yoga is an astanga yoga or “eightfold path” because it consists of eight steps in the path to self-realization and finding the meaning of life in the most subtle form.
The eight parts in which Raja yoga is organized are:
1.Yama
2.Niyama
3.Asana
4.Pranayam
5.Pratyahara
6.Daharana
7.Dhyana
8.Samadhi

1.Yama: Meaning “self-control” consists of the following five principles:

•Ahimsa: Non-violence; Ahimsa means not to hurt any living being, be it human or animals or even an insect, by your words or deed. It persuades people not to harm anyone. It also means not to kill anyone and avoid meat because it involves killing of innocent animals. This is why yogis are pure vegetarians. When animals are being slaughtered, they feel pain and sense the nearby death and, due to which, their body releases stress hormones which remain in their blood and flesh and then are transferred to the humans who eat them unsuspectingly and cause fear, stress in human beings too. The food at Shree Mahesh Heritage is purely vegetarian and simple, thus healthy for both mind and body.

•Satya: Truthfulness: We should always speak the truth no matter how bitter it could be, we should always walk in the path of truthfulness because lies always cause harm. Truth can be harsh, and we should know how to put the truth forward in a way that it is conveyed in a harmless manner. To be truthful also means to put forward all your feelings without hesitation and not to hide your fears and insecurities. Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school teaches you to walk on the path of truthfulness no matter what.

Asteya: Non-stealing; Asteya means one should never steal or take away any property that rightfully belongs to some other person. It can be mental or materialistic. Taking away people’s mental peace, joy, happiness and even opportunity is not at all valid. The exploitation of natural resources for our own good is also considered stealing.

•Brahmacharya: Adopting the pure way of life; Brahmacharya is limited to mean “sexual resistance” but in reality it is much more than that. In fact, Brahmacharya means we shouldn’t neglect all our worldly duties but to fulfill them carefully and wisely and always remember that it is the Almighty who is doing this all.

Aparigraha: Not to pile up possessions; We should never collect or accumulate a number of possessions just in order to be rich and look rich. We should always keep with us only as much as we need to live. One who posses a lot, also posses many worries. It also means the power of letting go, be it a materialistic possession or an emotional one.

2. Niyama: Discipline; It consists of five principles; namely
(i) Shauca: Purity of thoughts and body
(ii) Santosh: Contentment
(iii)Tapa: Self-control and self-discipline
(iv) Svadhyaya: Study of holy books and scriptures
(v) Ishvara Pranidhana: Devotion to the Almighty

3. Asana: It consists of various postures and exercises for a healthy body and mind.

4. Pranayama: Breathing techniques
A raja Yogi who performs Asana and pranayama achieves control over his body and mind which opens up the doors to Nirvana for him.

5. Pratyahara: Pratyahara means withdrawal of all senses. Initially, when pratyahara is practiced, we have to focus on outside sounds and listen to them like that of nature and birds, but gradually we learn to focus on our inner sounds, like heartbeat, breathing sound etc. It is practiced by sitting motionless with our eyes closed

6. Dharana: Dharana means concentration. It is difficult for us to concentrate at one particular point, and we get distracted all the time. Dhyana is achieved by regular practice and

7. Dhyana: Dhyana means “meditation” and meditation cannot be learnt, it is practiced and it comes into our habit when we are most comfortable and habitual of doing it.

8. Samadhi: Samadhi means complete liberation. It refers to oneness with the Devine consciousness. And when we attain Samadhi, we hear heavenly sounds and become like a river that ultimately flows into the see to unite with the devine

The teachers at Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school teach step-by-step how to practice “RajaYoga” in the simplest form and guide you towards ultimate liberation. They make you understand the meaning and purpose of living so that you live in the most efficient way possible and do not harm anyone along the way.

Why digital marketing?

Your consumers are on the internet:

With tremendous digitalisation and easy access to the internet, almost everyone is using it now. People highly rely on the internet to search and research products. Moreover, after covid, even more people are adopting digital marketing as it is safe and easy for them. Even if you are a small business, you get your consumers online. If you are keeping away from digital marketing thinking, it would take a lot of times to set up things online, then probably you’re wrong. It’s not only time saving but also cost efficient as it saves a lot of money that goes into conventional marketing. And it becomes easier to reach the masses and connect people online. Whenever someone looks for a product, they check reviews and then select the best for them. If your product is already on the internet and it has some good reviews from previous customers, then the person who is searching for the product will prefer to buy it from you because reviews build trust. On the other hand, if your service is not there on the internet, then there is no chance of you getting found, and, alas! You lose your potential consumers or maybe some long-term clients.
People judge your product based upon your presence on the internet. If they see your advertisement at more than one place, say on Instagram, Facebook and on YouTube, then whenever they think about that product, the first brand that comes to their mind will be you. So it becomes crucial to be online and active in order to grow and prosper as a brand.
Seven Ribbons Pictures has a team of enthusiastic social media managers and website developers to give your business a boost by handling your social media and making a perfect website well-suited to your brand that is attractive, interactive and comprehensive.

Your competitors are digitally active:

Whenever someone searches for a product online, he or she goes through a number of products, their reviews and varieties. This means that there are a lot of brands that sell the same type of products, and thus there is competition. And the businesses that are out there on the internet have more chances of getting found than those that are not there. Even if there is competition, still every business that is online gets quite a good profit in comparison to the one that is offline. Even if you have a shop or a restaurant and you have good reviews from your online buyers, then people will automatically come to your place. Shops and businesses that are online are considered more reliable and trustworthy. In order to grow, you need to look at what your competitors are doing and how they are growing and to take inspiration from them. Seven Ribbons Pictures’ team makes sure that you appear top on a search engine by setting up SEO on your website and social media in order to ace the high competition online.

It’s important for the growth of your business:

If you avoid digital marketing, then your business gets more and more shadow banned every day. To evolve as a brand, you need to keep checking what is trending in the market and learn new things, implement them to your business. Models need photoshoots for their portfolios, there are baby photoshoots, brands need to photoshoots for their products, we have wedding and pre-wedding photoshoots and so many more. Why do we need a photoshoot?

Although most of us have big phones with fancy cameras nowadays, and many of us have DSLR cameras too. But when it comes to a photoshoot, just a camera doesn’t work. If you want your picture to look completely professional, then you will absolutely look for a lot of things. A perfect photoshoot comes with experience, it’s not just the camera. Also, if there is no perfect lighting, no stand, no pre-planning, no backdrop, then your pictures are going to look a complete mess. There are so many events, so many memories that we want to capture in the most beautiful manner, we can’t take a chance, we need a good photoshoot for that. Moreover, a good picture is not just a product of good photography, it needs proper post-production as well! The young and zealous photographers of Seven Ribbons pictures have got all the talent to make your photoshoot a fabulous one. They’ve got a hand in post-production as well.

Pre-requisites of a perfect photoshoot:

Professional camera:

A professional camera or DSLR is required for a photoshoot to give out the best pictures that are sharp and clear and not blurry. There is no point in spending money on a photoshoot in return for blurry pictures. High quality pictures are always preferred, especially for product photoshoot. A camera has a large sensor and high processing power. You can also use different lenses for different kinds of photo requirements while using a professional camera. It has better sensitivity to light and gives you flexibility to adjust ISO, shutter speed and aperture according to the requirements. With a DSLR in your hand, you have control over the depth of the field too. It captures all important details due to high megapixels. Moreover, one can create effects such as bokeh and long exposure to give extra beauty to your pictures! At Seven Ribbons Pictures, they have a variety of cameras and lenses for all kinds of photoshoots.

Perfect lighting:

“Follow the light” ~ is a famous quote in photography. We need proper lighting for photography to avoid shadows and under-exposure. It is a key factor in making a perfect image. Lighting effects the overall mood of the picture and determines the brightness and darkness of a picture. That is why it is important to adjust the lighting in order to get the best texture, details, mood, color and vibrancy. Sometimes natural lighting works, but mostly, we need artificial lights for a photoshoot, especially indoor photoshoot. We need to manipulate light according to the situations and type of shot that we need. Artificial lights are quite expensive, and we can’t buy them for daily purpose. Seven Ribbons Pictures have all types of artificial lighting according to your requirements.

Professional photographer:

A photoshoot is successful only if handled by a professional photographer. He plans your shoot and makes things easy for you. A man with good knowledge of handling a professional camera and having a significant experience is the one that we called a professional photographer. He is capable of capturing the soul of the moment and the moments that often go unnoticed during a photoshoot. Moreover, photographers are artists and therefore creative and give you unique and amazing results with the photoshoot. They are skilled and have knowledge of making your photoshoot a successful one. The professional photographers at Seven Ribbons Pictures have an amazing hand in creating a successful photoshoot for you. They have the knowledge of camera handling and making creative pictures even with fewer resources available. You will discover their art once you book your photoshoot at Seven Ribbons Pictures!

Props and backdrops:

You can’t get an amazing picture with a cluttered background or a distorted environment. That is why there are backdrops that photographers carry with them. And standing or posing just in simple clothes, without any prop or a unique yet beautiful outfit doesn’t actually lead to a successful photoshoot. Nowadays, it is becoming even more popular to use props to add beauty to your otherwise simple picture. Also, if it’s a product photoshoot for a brand, than it becomes even more important to use proper backdrops as well as props. Similarly, all kinds of photoshoots require props and backdrops. A clear background that complements your outfit makes your picture stand out of the crowd. Seven Ribbons Pictures has all the backdrops and props required for all different kinds of photoshoots to make it a successful one.

Post-processing:

When a picture is taken, even with a professional camera, many times the real mood and zeal of the moment gets lost in the way, maybe because some colors are not captured properly and some details that fail to show. That is why we need post-production, or in much simpler words “editing”. There are so many adjustments that can be done during post-processing that can actually give life to your image. Colour, lighting, exposure, white balance, temperature, contrast and saturation can all be adjusted during post processing to give the actual desired results of a photoshoot.

Benefits of Asanas in daily life

Yoga was born in ancient Indian times but is becoming increasingly popular all over the world due to its wonderful benefits. Yoga includes various postures known as Asanas. Practicing yoga Asanas daily can sort out a number of problems in life. Asana are comfortable postures that can be practiced easily for a long period of time. Saint Pantajali in 200 BC wrote his book in which he classified postures into two parts. The meditation postures are known as Asanas and physical postures known as Yoga vyayam. However, in general, all yoga exercises are considered Asanas. The Asanas taught at Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school are rooted deep in the yogic times and have healing effects on the body and soul.
Most of the Asanas are derived from nature and animals such as a tree, mountain, cat, deer, rabbit etc. Asanas have an amazing impact on the body and mind of human beings. Asanas are beneficial in treating many body ailments and treating stress and other mental problems too and serve amazing benefits if practiced regularly. At Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school, you learn Asanas that don’t involve a lot of effort but have amazing therapeutic results.

How to perform Asanas:

Asanas are performed by synchronization of body movement with the breath. When we perform Asanas while inhaling, it involves expanding of the abdominal area and when performed while exhaling, the abdominal area shrinks.
Asanas are performed slowly to enable concentration. The time for which we perform Asanas or their number is of no concern but the quality. These should be performed such that the body is relaxed all the time, and there is no strain. The teachers at Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school guide you step by step to perform Asanas in the most effective manner beginning from primary Asana to complex ones.
When body movements are coordinated with breathing, this practice calms the mind, improves the functioning of the nervous system and increases the capacity of the lungs. The teachers at Shree Mahesh Heritage meditation school teach you Asanas in the easiest way, starting from the most basic to the complex ones step by step, so that your body adapts along the way. There are so many mental disorders like headache, migraine, bipolarity, anger issues that people nowadays suffer from. Asanas can help with reducing these ailments if practiced on a daily basis. There is a flow of positive energy in the brain after performing Asanas.

Improves body posture:

The office lifestyle nowadays, that forces us to sit on a chair in front of a computer screen for long hours, deteriorates our body posture a lot. Improper body posture leads to joint pains, back pain and muscle pain. It also affects our digestive system and increases fat. Asanas involves postures that involve balancing techniques and a straight spine. Different Asanas that involve stretching improve flexibility of the body. Thus, Asanas help in making our body posture better.
Makes you healthy and fit: Asanas involve movements of different body parts and their stretching. These lead to cutting extra fat from your body, making you flexible, leading to a good physique. Many Asanas also help in building strength and endurance. If practiced on a daily basis, Asanas make you healthy and fit and improves your immune system. Asana does not take a lot of hard work like other exercises, you can do it while you are relaxed. A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body, and Asanas make your body and mind healthy without much effort.

Woos away stress and anxiety:

Different postures, especially the ones that involve breathing techniques, are helpful in calming and clearing the stress and anxiety from the brain. You are able to focus and understand things properly. Asanas lower stress hormones like cortisol and promote relaxation.
Improves the nervous system: Asanas are primarily the body postures that decrease the heart rate and blood pressure, so that when our body is calm, our brains are able to transmit a message more easily. Asanas involving meditation activates our brains and increases their capacity to maintain overall coordination between mind, body and soul.

Helps in developing immunity:

We are often exposed to bad environment, bad food and water and polluted air, due to which we are prone to so many diseases. Bad food habits and taking soft drinks can also be fatal as it accumulates fat inside our body and, consequently, leads to diseases like diabetes, obesity, blood pressure and heart disease. Moreover, common cold and fever are now more frequent than ever. Now Covid has also come. So it is necessary to become immune enough in order to live a healthy life. Asanas that activate various body parts, reduce fat and calms us down to normalize blood pressure can prove life-saving.
